Turner Washington, a senior at Arizona State, placed second in the men's shot put final with a sixth-round mark of 69-0.75 (21.05m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Washington also finished 10th in the discus throw final with a 191-4 (58.33m) performance. Washington concluded his collegiate career as a four-time Division 1 champion and five-time All-America first-team honoree.
